That's what my brother in law did, but with a camaro. He is the only American muscle out there usually though. It took him a couple seasons to really dial it in, but worth it. He actually prefers the longer wheel base. I know nothing about it or drifting.

I heard some people saying a couple of inches or 8+. Who knows. These 3” snow falls are nothing but a pain in the ass.

Just snow, but maybe that is why it is in the forecast. It is only 1-3" here of snow. No mention of ice :fingerscrossed:

Well surprising news. Tacoma is in for inspection today, I get informed the frame failed due to the rust. I’ve received 2 recall notices the last three years for this, after the 1st they said the frame is ok and coated it with CRC. The 2nd notice came 7-8 months back, took truck in for frame inspection and their results/reports were the same, frame ok.
The truck has 305xxx miles... I’m happy to get a new frame !

The CRC Toyota applies is 'MacGyvered', if you get my drift. It basically covers the rust, Toyota does not remove the rust prior to application.
My state inspection was due this week so I pressure washed the under carriage and truck to remove the brine and salt, I think I removed much of the CRC exposing the rusted frame, hence the failed inspection.

So maybe not even worth the trouble? It is so difficult to tell how badly it is rusting inside the frame until after there is a big fucking hole by the cat correct?

My truck was originally a TN truck and on the outside there is zero signs of rust anywhere, even on the welds where it usually start it look perfect. The guy I bought it from would hose it down with WD-40 and I will continue to spray it with fluid film before and after each winter to hopefully make it last.
