I brought my truck into the dealership two weeks ago today for the leaf spring fix and complained about my radio resetting when I connect to bluetooth. The rep told me they would look at since I had complained numerous times during the bumper to bumper. That day I got a call that they were going to replace the radio. It has now been two weeks and they haven't really followed up after they said the part could take 3 weeks to get in. I don't mind putting the miles on the loaner but I really prefer my truck.

Has anyone had the radio replaced?

    Thanks!

Wait was the symptoms. Just turn off and power up? I’ve had to turn mine off twice since my phone wouldn’t connect.

They couldn't just let you have your truck back until the replacement radio came in?

Curious about this too. My 2017 no problems, my 2019 has had all kinds of weird issues with bluetooth, not connecting, showing connected but music still playing through the phone, not being able to skip tracks via steering wheel, the fix is having to restart it everytime. Gotta love that Toyota QDR.

The problem is this. Initially I would be listening to music via bluetooth and then a phone call would come in and the system would do a full reset. It did this a bunch. I would go in and they would give the system a software update and then it would fix it. Then a few weeks later same thing. I think they did this 3-4 times. The last time I was in the service advisory told me that I couldn't charge my phone from the USB and that would fix the problem. I tried that for a while and it would still reset. I complained again and now they are hopefully fixing it.

Valid point. I tried calling again today but my adviser is slow at getting back to me. If I really cared I would call the service manager. It's sad that I have all his contact information at this point and he knows me by name.
