    hey all, just joined. Couldn't get any user name I tried to work....so guess what the user name became!

    I'm drooling over the gen3 Tacomas, and hope to have one in the next few weeks or so. I'm waiting for the dealers to have what I'm looking for: TRD Sport "Limo edition" with a long bed. I need room for my toys more than I need Off Road maneuverability. And full-size trucks are just too dang big!

    First truck was a 1976 Chevy C10 350 in Hawaiian Blue that I took off my dad's hands in 1983. It was incredibly capable, and got a whopping 10 mpg. After that I went off the ranch a bit and had a used Subaru Hatchback, then a 1988 Subaru Justy. That stupid little thing was brawny! 3 cylinders, 4WD and quick. Doing ice donuts in 4-wheel was a real hoot. When that got old, I picked up (get it?) a Frontier in 1993. My current beasty is a 2004 Dakota that is in such good shape I feel bad about swapping it, but maybe there's someone who'll give me a decent amount of cash for the V8 experience.
