I have an SR. Which means no leds. I have seen headlights on ebay that look like they have LEDs in them but say they will work with non led model trucks... Ive also seen the bad ass headlights that are sold on this forum (forget the name) but they are 1200+. Id like to upgrade the headlights but for 1200 I can live with stock... Are there good lights available for $500 or less that are plug and play? There seems to be tons I find but Im not in the know enough to realize if they are shit or not.

For sub $500, you can get a set of rigid duallys and ditch light brackets and have money leftover. It’s going to do far more than $1200 headlights.

Unless of course you want something just for looks, then good luck.

No but you also shouldn’t put in aftermarket headlights to blind the shit out of people either.

I switched back to stock after my LumenShred 500 solar series headlights lit a cat on fire from 30 feet away. It’s so embarrassing having free headlights.

If you're just after better looking (visual) headlights you could pay someone to retrofit yours, paint the housing, add a Halo etc for under the cost of those $1200 morimotos.

Nope. The go pro lens was damaged as well. LumenShred are looking into the issue, as the 4ft plasma ball was advertised as rotating 5 ft in front of the truck (obviously the safe distance) but instead I got an 8ft ball of rotating white plasma 25 feet in front. That’s not gonna pass inspection.

I'm more interested in a good looking light that performs as well as my factory lights.. I don't really have an issue with the output with the factories.. Just want a better look..

ahhh i see.. kewl... I mean, I would argue that 6000k lights look amazing compared to stock, but that's just my opinion.

I just ordered these from TacomaBeast https://tacomabeast.com/collections...-turn-signal-light-bar?variant=15388057075814

I should get them Wednesday (3-6-19) I'll post a pic and let y'all know if I like em.
