Tacoma Rental

Had to travel to Chicago for work this week and was able to rent a 2019 4x4 Sport. The blue isn't bad, but it really made me miss my Quicksand at home.

Edit: SR5, i'm an idiot.

 

Honestly I hate that blue. Actually I liked the older colors better. The blue looks cheap to me. Silver Streak Mica here so maybe I'm old school.

Love the color. Sweet rental. Stop typing and take that thing out for some play time.

 

I’m guessing that wasn’t a Sport. No hood scoop and it says SR5 on it. Either way glad you though it was decent. I really don’t like that color at all but that’s just my opinion. Others enjoy it and it’s a free country!

 

I did opposite on my trip to Sedona.. I rented the T4R to see what is all that fuss about.
Did great on the snow for 2wd, but felt minivanish to me...

 

Hertz was renting a bunch of these when i was in Sacramento last month. They were all Off Roads and Sports

 

This colour really grew on me after I saw Voodoo Blue at our dealership. That's one colour I'll probably never like.

 

Voodoo blue is one of those colors that remind me of the 90's. The music may have been great, the heroin was more pure and the women were skinny, but that didn't stop Connor from picking a color like Voodoo blue off the wall at Maaco for his EF hatch. That garish color was a just a huge nope then, just as it is now.

 

I’m going to Sedona at the end of April and renting a truck for the week, was hoping to get a newer Tacoma I think I’ll call and see what they have available. On the reservation it just said F-150 or similar.

 

PHX Airport car rental center did have a few 3rd gen Tacomas on the lot.

 

Yes actually just called enterprise and confirmed they have them.
