    Yea, that's the harness I bought yesterday. $21 on Amazon for the 3rd Gen. Or you can splice the harness that comes with it. The white plug, plugs into the truck, the black end plugs into the controller.

    I just watched a video where they guy pulled out a bag from the glove compartment that had a plug for the factory harness to wire up to a brake controller....

    Need to find that bag! If I find it consider this sold!

    Correct. The harness should also have bare wires, so just some solder and shrink wrap or a few butt connectors and you are good to go!

    True, I thought you meant the OEM Tacoma harness that comes with the truck is plugged on both ends. Also, make sure there is a ground wire!!!!! Some harness's do not come with them and this setup definitely needs a ground.

    I have a couple of them I am sure, laying around somewhere. Tundra, 4Runner and now Tacoma. I should splice a couple together to make the one I bought longer.

    I hooked mine up and got an "internal error" message so I need to contact them. Apparently it's a known issue and since the have a limited lifetime warranty they just send you a new one.

    We shall see.
