Hello: My name is Bob and I am from PA. I own a 2009 Tacoma regular cab. I bought it new and I love it. I wanted an automatic but was told and automatic was not an option for the regular cab in 2009? In addition I also wanted bucket seats which I was told was not an option? I can live with the std. 5 speed but would like to change out the bench seat for buckets. I want to keep the side air bags, presently in the seat, but am not sure if this swap to buckets can be done without major modifications. Any one have any experience with this swap and if it can be done and where I might obtain bucket seats for my truck. I was hoping a font seats from a double cab or extended cab would work.

Welcome to TW! Maybe scour a local junk yard for seats/brackets to see if they would work.
