Unfortunately, it really depends on your sound taste, how you use your truck, and aversion to drone. My truck is my DD, I do not crawl or off-road, I do haul a fair amount of "stuff" on a regular basis.

I did have MBRP axle dump, cab drone was quite loud (70-75db) at highway speeds.

I have since changed to Magnaflow (muffler only, I do not recall model #) and moved tailpipe to a stock-ish location with 2.5" pipe. Drone on the highway is gone, note is a bit higher than the MBRP, still have "gurgle" on engine braking, hits mid to upper 70's db on WOT/mid-heavy acceleration, sound on cruise (70-85 mph) is equal to or lower than road noise roughly mid 50 db(tested via coasting in neutral as idle is under 50db). The sound levels I am taking about are with AC on with all windows and moon roof closed.

    Good luck!!

Agree. Factory part means no emissions or warranty issues. Great sound and top quality.

IMO the TRD exhaust is the only exhaust I’d get. The tone is just right, not too much that it sounds like a rice rocket.

OR... spend the exhaust money on something else!

    BONE Stock.... I Swear!
After trying a few different exhaust types: MBRP, AFE, I can honestly say that to get a 'truck' tone and not the 350z sound these V6s like to release, you loose a bit of performance and it just drones and gets really annoying. I would say TRD or leave stock and chop for clearance if that's an issue... Just my $.02 after a bit of experience here.
