Yeah they look like clean breaks and only 3 peices. I thought it was like deteriorated/dryrot/shattered. Try that plastic bond.. I've done similar repairs with JB weld that have worked. If not, I can help out.

 

I have some JB weld plastic bonder so I will give it a shot. Thanks so much fellas!! I will let you know how it goes.

 

Oldest daughter (15) wrestled her first freestyle tournament yesterday (actually her first tournament ever), and apparently qualified for Nationals in Fargo ND this July. Guess it’s a pretty big deal

Hey man so I saw you were looking for a water jet guy, where are you working again? I have been learning AutoCAD at work and I think I could probably throw together plans for some EPDM skids/flat floors on the Taco... just for giggles and/or experience it's something that would be cool to get water jetted.

Yikes, I remember working on my HVAC during the dash swap on my Miata. Those little plastic pieces are like ancient treasures anymore.
For me the bigger problem was getting the warehouse stank out of the new (to me) vent ducts. I broke it all down and took the shit outside and hosed everything down and ran all purpose cleaner thru them and then warm water/dish soap in a big wash basin. Dry it all out with compressed air and sit it in the sun, and finally the stink was gone.

Depends on what you are looking for. Are you looking for a very quiet peaceful relaxing vacation away from the crowds or do you want to be right in the thick of things with thousands of tourists crowding the streets, beaches shops etc. (Sorry wife and I hate downtown Waikiki)

If looking for the former then check out Turtle Bay up on the North Shore. It is well away from everything but there is enough around you to get by. Fantastic beaches heck walk half a mile away from the resort and you'll probably have the entire beach to yourself. 2 solid restaurants on site. The village of Haleiwa near by as well as Kuhuku if you want to get out of the resort for food.

If you do stay in Waikiki the nice thing is you do have more convenient access to the southern part of the island Diamond head, Sandy's beach park, Hanauma bay snorkeling. Makapuu lighthouse. Lanikai etc

 

Since we are on topic, do you know if Haleiwa advanture park is still around? I used to do downhill biking there before a major landslide took out the trails. Would be great to visit my stomping grounds if they are still around.

 

Nah that turned into Waimea Falls nature center and tourist attraction. Really pretty up in there though.

 

Hmmmm I wonder if they still got some fun stuff? They used to shuttle us up for the trail runs and had ATV tours as well.

Yea I checked out my OG store raging isle and its pretty much only a surf shop now. Sad to see the DH world has completely left the north shore although I know St. Louis has gotten some retarded big drop hits now.
