Hey guys, so I picked up a 2019 Double Cab Long Bed and wanted to get some steps for it. I like the look of the black OEM tube steps, and the dealer has kindly offered to sell them to me and install them. I've been waiting a couple weeks for them to arrive, and feel like I should just do it myself.

Where can I buy them? Figuring this will save me a pile of money.

    Thank you!

You can find them all over the interwebs. BST forum here, facebook, Craigslist; they're everywhere. 6 bolts each side. Shouldn't take 10-15 minutes to install them. If you weren't in NC I'd sell you mine that are just taking up space in the garage

Yep. Don't pay a dealer $400+ to install a set of OEM steps. They're everywhere for $150-225 and easy as pie to install.

Those hang pretty low. There's plenty of high and tight options. The problems with the ones that hang low is there the first thing to hit the ground if you're off the pavement. Definitely causing damage to them, but could hurt your panels also.

The aluminum 3rd gen boards are out if the way. The 2nd gen oem boards are also and fit 3rd gens perfectly. They don't offer protection, but they aren't low and in the way.

Scored the running boards off another Tacoma guy locally. Thanks for the tips, y'all!
