Of course it’s like the worst day this happened. Started pouring freezing rain and changed to snow. Got 3qts of fluid put in. And my neighbor had to go to work. That’s where we left off. My other buddy and him were able to put it in neutral and push it nearly halfway up my driveway, they couldn’t get it any further. Just out of the road. Looks like I pulled in my driveway drunk lol. I had it in the road on a level surface. So tomorrow I have to take off work and try to finish up the last steps. Wish I could put that bad boy in drive and get it in my garage, but I’m not chancing it. Thank you guys for all the replies. Hopefully tomorrow when it’s finished I’ll be laughing about this smh...

I wonder if it’s the first time he has accidentally serviced a tranny

I remember the good old days when you had a trans dip stick just like the one for oil.

Drain it out the bottom, fill it up thru the dip stick tube.

You would hope people could figure it out before draining the fluid

You put 3qts trans fluid back in and replaced what came out? If so, just start it up and pull in your garage.

I would say I lost roughly 2 quarts. I put in 3 to be safe and in case It may of been low from factory.

Go to an oil change place...If it hurts too much to drive ask your neighbor to take it...Id much rather drive my neighbors car to a shop than change their oil.

F it. Pay for a tow to a dealer, bend over and pay to get the tranny and oil drained and replaced. It's not like it a $1,000 beater. This can be a very expensive mistake.

You should be fine to pull it into the driveway/garage. Wouldn't do much more until you drain of the excess though.

Pull that sucker into your garage. You will not cause any damage, especially being as close to spec as you are.
