Have used Tacoma World to research all of my up grades to date, and thought I would try add to the wealth of information I have found on here.
    List of previous unposted mods

    CBI rack
    Tepui Autana 3 ruggedized tent
ARB old man emu Heavy leaf, spring, and shock kit
    Led work lights onto rack

Recommend all of the above upgrades but found numerous postings on these
Decided to try to make some sliders when tore steps off of stock running boards at Big bend Ranch State Park.
Have seen a few posts on Rock sliders thought I'd show how I made mine maybe will help some one

I went ahead and decided to go with weld on
I used 2x2 3/16 square tubing for sliders
1 1/2 by 3/16 for step and attachments
2x2 x 3/16 angle to weld to frame

Welded all of it 5p then ran low hy over all of it to deal with vibration

Not sure if this is how everyone would do it but worked out how I wanted.
Hope will help any one thinking of trying this. Will try to keep an eye on this thread but if have question shoot me a message

That's similar to how I did mine but with round tubing. I don't have a bender so I went with angles similar to yours.

Edit: I noticed your outer tube doesn't tie I to the main tube much. You may want to add another brace or two between them to eliminate deflection and bending if/when they take a hit.

Have been thinking on that.. with the 3/16 doesn't have much give but going to give it a couple days and see if decide to put some braces in there. Appreciate it
