Made a attempted run up eagle rock. Really deep snow with a icy bottom. We made it to the first technical hill and it was crazy. Winch fest after about a hr or so we turned around it was a blast though. The tacoma did great got a bent fender from a rock somewhere lol.

Some of that might legitimately buff out. It still sucks though. High clearance time! :sawzall:

Almost all the damage, aside from the window area, will be gone if I go HC front/rear

I guess, didn't notice the front damage until washing today. At this point it may have been a few trees

That black in between the windows is just vinyl that can be removed. However, it served its exact purpose by getting scratched instead of scratching your actual door.

I didnt bring my spares so we just pulled the boots and pulled it out. Much faster than replacing anyway.

So you didn't have an axle nut on your hub for the drive home?

With my tax forms submitted and the honeydo list worked down, I made a spur of the moment decision to get out and take a scenic Sunday afternoon drive along the Platte River through Foxton, Pine Grove and back home via Elk Creek, 285, and Pleasant Park road. The snow creates a unique picture to this area's already breathtaking beauty. The champagne powder dropped all afternoon, but the accumulation was only and inch or two. It did not feel cold either, maybe because the air was still. I drove slow and stopped to take many pictures, maybe as much as @turbodb does on his trips. Well ... maybe not. :cookiemonster:
    Here are six of them:

    Platte River Road

    Near Foxton

Stopped by Zoka's for a crab cake appetizer and a pint of O'Dells Cutthroat porter

    Elk Creek IMG_1753.jpg

There were a couple of deer sightings along Elk Creek. Three here, and eight crossed the road about a mile further.
    IMG_1756cropped.jpg

There was a giant dome shaped rock on the other side of the river that had a tiny stream of snow fall off it that was pretty cool to see. It was no where near the avalanche that occurred today on I-70

Camped Friday night down in Rainbow Falls and ran Metberry this morning with @YamaDirtrider.

Almost zero snow on Metberry, got all the way through no issues at all. Except for me losing one of my bumpstomb on the trails somewhere/somehow.

Give me a tentative date and if I have enough time between doctors appointments I should be able to make it out
