Unless you got a pop n lock installed at the dealership when you got it your tailgate won't work with your fob. It's only locked or unlocked with your key. That being said, I love my pop n lock tailgate. Highly recommend it.

If you do have it installed, it sounds like one of the wires is open. Check the crimp and wiretap connection points and make sure they're good. And while you're at it, replace them with posi lock and posi tap connections ;)

Or, upon reading again, could be the actuator isn't installed right. Open the cover on your tailgate and watch the mechanism operate while you use your fob.

    Welcome to the forum!
