So I've had my tacoma for nearly 5 months now and I had an issue with my pre collision sensor. It would turn on and off by itself then tell me to clean the sensor and after cleaning it a few times I had scheduled an appointment with the dealer to have it checked out. Sadly enough it took me 3 visits and 10+ hours of waiting for them to fix it.
At this point I just want others to know that if you are getting this issue bring it in immediately and don't attempt to use your cruise control. When this first happened I had cruise control on, and it was close to 3am so there wasnt anyone else around me. I had it set at 60mph and with no warning the truck without me touching the gas and the cruise still reading 60mph sped me up to 80 and and then slowed me down to 50. It then repeated this 2 more times. I would've hated to have had this happen during the day with other people around.
Hope everyone stays safe out there even with the newer models

My 2018 had the sensor replaced within 2000 miles. I have 15000 miles on it now with no more issues.
