Hahaha! Yeah right. People with the kind of money you are talking about generally buy with common sense and won’t spend $10,000-15,000 for a snazzy TRD OR and Sport hybrid. With a supercharger would be a totally different conversation.

Pro = Never a good financial decision if you want the best bang for your buck.

I was gonna look into putting a pro grille in my truck.. but the more i look at my plain ol black SR grille.. Im really digging it.. If the pro grille wasnt so damn high I might consider it.. And I dont want the issues that possibly come with that TSS warning shit... So I dont wanna roll the dice on a warranty denial..

4Runner Trail wheels and Toyo Open Country ATII tires 265-70-17. Cosmetic stuff like Pro grille and OffRoad black bumper trim, vinyl delete on side, added hood graphic, OEM tube steps.
I toyed with just replacing the chrome bezel around the grille with the black one from an SR. Keeps the TSS stuff unmolested.

This guy did it and I think it looks great. Even though I ended up replacing mine with the OEM Pro.

Why not tell the truth. Would you rather me lie? I don’t think so bud. I don’t go out of my way to do so, but I will let my opinion be known. Have a good one!

Would you rather me bash a F150 that I know nothing about?

Also, FWIW I don’t hate the truck... I hate the price. Unless... It’s a Cav Blue one. I definitely don’t like that color and I will say so in public. Remember it’s a free country which I signed up to fight for and thank God... Merica!!!

For sure manufacturers have always done this. I know back in the 90’s you had to have the right VIN # to get a z71 sticker from
    Chevrolet.

Toyota did this with other parts too the FJ Cruiser trail team edition had black mirrors, door handles, and bumper caps and *most reputable dealers needed a trail team VIN to sell you the replacement parts. It was a popular mod too because the silver trim looked awful. Funny enough when my FJ got rear ended the body shop had a hell of a time finding the trail team bumper caps even though mine where plastidipped!

I think he'd be comfortable with that.
