What’s the cost to get one of these wrapped? I am seeing a lot of alum corrosion, really just tarnish, but would like to get it wrapped.

Other option is I may mirror polish it like an airstream for shits and giggles, think we talked about that earlier in this thread, it won’t last long as a mirror polish, but think it would be a good experiment, haha.[/QUOTE]

It varies a lot depending on where you live. Best to get a local quote mine was 800

A lil this a lil that.
Just an added point of insight. Since getting this beast a week ago I've added a little over 1k in miles to the truck. The passenger side window has helped me more than I expected in clearing traffic. Down side is if someone wants to peep inside as of now they can..velcro curtains may be in the future.

I love the black PC, but would recommend the insulation if you do bc it has the potential to get a bit hot in the sun

Anyone have the Drifter in grey powder coat? I have a quicksand taco and don’t think white would look right but I know black will get hot. I wanna see how dark or light the grey is before deciding.

    Thanks.

Get something common, that way when you sell it later if you do you have a broader market to sell to. (White, black or bare are your best options IMO).

That makes sense. I have been blacking out the truck so I would do black over white. The photos of the black look pretty nice.

There are no grey ones in the wild. An exact shade of grey has not been decided on yet

What glass window is that? Does it come tinted? Anymore pics?

It looks tinted in the picture. I know the gullwing glass window comes tinted.

Looks like the glass windoor, and I believe all of the glass options are tinted

Yeah this one has the glass wind door with window tinting. The way I have the interior built out, when you look over right shoulder you look at your blind spot. I removed the blind spot monitoring when I installed my bumper. The window tinted is good from afar, but when you get up on the window you can see in. (Both rear and side)

I should have a grey one by the end of the mouth. I will definitely post a few pictures when I get it.

As others have mentioned... we can!

    Here are the options:

    1. Ship or drop off an awning. Or order an awning and have it delivered to our shop.
    2. Order a Frontrunner awning through us.
    3. Order an Eezi-Awn awning through us. We recently became an Eezi-Awn dealer.

Another option is provided the powdercoat RAL code. We can’t guarantee that it will be a color match to your truck, but we can match a specified powdercoat code. It would be a little extra unless our powdercoater has the exact color in stock.

We do recommend getting a sample from one of the powdercoat manufacturers, if you decided to go that route.

Has anyone went to a Auto Body Paint shop and got a quote to color match their drifter? What was the quote? I am not looking for Maaco or anything cheap. I want the paint to last. A reputable shop should not charge more than $1200 to color match the Drifter. I have not seen one in person but I believe it comes in raw aluminum? I think this is a benefit as there should be less prep for the shop to start painting (do not have to remove old paint).

Only issue and major concern is the body shop will have to remove the Drifter from the vehicle. Will they even do this type of work since a fork lift is needed I believe to remove and install.

I'm very close to placing an order for one but have not see one in person yet. I need to climb up and lay in one and see how I like it. I believe next weekend Vagabond will be at the SFO show in SoCal?? So I will definitely be there just to see the Drifter. :)
