Thanks, it was a very busy day but I got a whole lot accomplished. Now it's just odds and ends to button it up.

Hopefully you have better luck than me with aftermarket idlers. I replaced 2 of the 3 with gates pullies. One started making noise after 6 months and the other catastrophically failed, 2 hours away from home right before hitting the trail. Luckily an auto parts store was right there.

The same shit everyone else has.
Tweaked my hvac lighting again. Added a 3rd LED to each side to better disperse the lighting more evenly. Finally happy with it.

Lighting is way more even now and all the buttons light.

Lol that sounds like just what I was expecting, I got the bearing for the tensioner from work so it should be good. Did you get oem pulleys? How difficult I figure worst parts getting fat arms in there.

I eventually ended up getting OEM pulleys and serpentine belt to the tune of $199 shipped. Install isn't bad at all. The lower two pulleys I accessed from the wheel wells. Much easier that way. Most annoying part was routeing the new serpentine belt. All in all it took me about 45 min to do all that and swap the tensioner bearing.

Cool I figure I’ll make it happen, I was thinking take the skid plate off would help get in there. I had a belt brake and eat my power steering pump and crank seal, I figure some got wrapped in a pulley

I left my IFS skid on and the truck on the ground. It really wasn't too tricky. Just a 14mm deep socket and a ratchet is all you need. Also pro tip, there's a little hole on the bottom of the tensioner. Once you relive tension on the belt, you shove an allen key in there and it holds the tensioner in the "open" position. Makes it a bit easier to work.
