How come to many? From what I understood:
    Son1 drives 02 ex cab
    Son2 drives 95.5
    You drive 98 MT
and double cab is in rebuild.

Three drivers, 3 vehicles (and one toy).

Get rid of expensive ones, keep Tacomas :D. I just paid for my insurance - 5th gen 4Runner costs me exactly 12 times more than my Tacoma.

I’ve got one. May not look like much but I rebuilt the front end with oem parts, and replaced all 4 shocks with Bilstein 5100s. The truck came with 17” Tundra rims, I replaced them with some 15” alloy rims. Replaced the rear axle with a 2,000 axle that has a factory e locker. Did a lot to the interior, the center consol was missing and the dash trim was all cracked and broken. Dyed the carpet black and put some seat covers on. I have new body mounts coming in the mail, so my cab will sit straight. My transmission is grinding in 4th gear but I’m saving up to have that rebuilt. After that I’m going to re-gear to 4.88, lift it and put some 33” tires on this beast! 8163C0E6-A898-4263-84E9-0C02087152B4.jpg7B0E653B-834B-4882-A2E5-E8724FA8C401.jpg 5C18F50F-247C-4AE0-AD69-6A2C4C9AB9B7.jpg3B059FA5-42AF-4789-9710-0D5765832C9A.jpg

Is it dirt on the bed?
What rear suspension do you run?

Yeah, i had a load of top soil. In that picture, i was running stock suspension, but now i just replaced both my leaf springs with new aftermarket ones. And I'm running some cheap KYB shocks.

That's impressive. I think my truck would scrape a pavement with her ass with that load. I'm seriously thinking of adding airbags.

Yeah, I've thought about doing airbags, so i don't squat so much. It would be nice to have.

i didn't notice that push-button lol, i did not have that option
was the passenger air-bag an option on yours in '95½? I don't have that luxury and no idea if it was available then (kinda had to have one sitting on the lot already and did not want an automatic!)

It was not. 95.5 and the next year were with one airbag and the only sensor was in the Airbag Sensor Assembly (or Airbag CU) that is under the radio. Very, very simple design. The only way to make it simpler is no airbag at all. I don't know how 97 looked like but from EWD of 1999 I see the SRS system came a long way: two sensors in the front, two airbags and two seat belt pre-tensioners.
