The $400 aluminum Allpro bumper I stole locally off Craigslist:cool:

Fitment is decent, it rubs against the front fender 'flares' a bit, but i think once I get my frame reinforcements on and some washers, that wont be a problem anymore. I need to find a place to relocated my supercharger coolant pump, as the bumper (and soon to be winch) interfered with its original location! Planning on paint matching this bumper, I think it'll look sleek with it being MGM.

Installed the Cali-raised antenna mount as well. Fitment is so so, but part of that is due to the EZ down tailgate damper i have installed, ever so slightly pushing the tailgate towards the passenger side. I plan on fabricating a quick mount to mount an LED pod on the same side.

Hawk Mountain GEORGIA TW Camping Trip - 3/1/19 - 3/3/19

Awesome meetup with about 20 local rigs! Got to meet a ton of awesome people including @BYJOSHCOOK , @Built2Ride , @TheUglyOne , @grant318is , @BadgerBoy , @ETsemaj , @flippinweaver , @backcountryj , @KaptainH , @JonesMGMOR , @iK0NiK and several others that i cant remember their TW usernames; awesome to put names to faces. Had an absolute blast getting to meet everyone! Did a little exploring and found a small rock ledge that was pretty interesting to climb. Got to test out my new approach angle with the new bumper, as well as the sliders! Came in late Friday evening and also got to test out my freshly installed Baja Designs fog lights and PIAA 20" light bar. Highly impressed, but found the light bar to be more spot than flood, so I am looking into some ditch lights. Drove about 60 miles of gravel with the owner of ACC Garage (Brian Dugan) and Rick with the FJ and they seemed to live by the motto "let her rip taterchip"! Had a fun time sliding around gravel roads with them. On the way back from that, my traction control engaged on PAVEMENT?(was not sliding or near losing traction) twice while in the middle of a sweeping left turn at about 50mph. No dash lights or beeping, just the ABS cycling and applying the brakes for me. Scared the poop out of me, but then it didn't happen again. Discussed it with Dugan and he said maybe it engaged as I was going too fast for the corner and the yaw sensors didnt like it and engaged the traction control? I'll do an inspection of all the sensors when I wash it and see if anything looks out of place. If everything looks dandy im just going to leave it be. Overall had a fantastic time meeting everyone and cant wait for the next one!

    TACO SAWCE!

Ending the evening with the addition of my favorite decal:cool: My tacomaworld decal and ACC decal went on as well! Not a huge decal fan, so this is honestly as much as it will get in that regard.

Appreciate the shoutout man! Probably should have gone camping with you guys this weekend, didn't see anything on my hog hunt. Had a good time on the family farm though. My new grille should be shipping soon!

Hey man, so I'm about to color match powdercoat my front bumper and potentially my high clearance rear bumper thats coming in. I know you posted some pics of your bumper when you powdercoated it, but i cant remember the thread you posted it in. Do you remember the thread or have the pics you could post up again??

I like where your head is at  she’s only going to get more capable for less asphalt :bikewhoops: the rsx may get a turbo at some point which will suffice for street use:cool:

Lol it was worth a shot, i was hoping someone else would lower and s/c their truck. I needs a buddy i can compare with.

Didnt know think you still had the RSX! Saw it on the first page when cruising by and thought you sold it, so thats what made me think you should lower the taco lol. Definitely cant blame you for wanting to make it more capable offroad. Since youve got a car too, youll have the best of both worlds if you do that.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
Build is looking good. If I didn’t have my best friends wedding thingy this weekend, I would roll with ya out of town.

Ya never know unless ya try, right?? I do plan on keeping tire size the same, I don’t want to lose power going with a larger tire, and I’m content with my current fuel economy.

Yes sir still do! She’s been neglected since buying the taco stays at a friends place several miles from me so I’m not able to tinker with it on a daily basis:/ it’s a fun little car as it is, the cams and supporting bolt ins definitely have given it a bit more pep

You should regear and keep the same size tires. Im regeared to 4.10s and im running stock 265/65/17s. The truck will spin the tires merging onto the hwy in 3rd gear. The torque is incredible! My gas mileage is still around 15-16 too

Wish there was more simple stuff like that we could do to these motors to get some gains, its a shame. Adding power to these trucks is expensive
