Hello Tacoma world. Looking for advice on lifting my 2014 standard 2 door Tacoma. I have 235 70 17R tires on. Nothing too crazy just basically a 2-2.5 inch lift all around. I was told if I did a 3 inch lift it requires shocks and new suspension etc. I’ve also been told it can be done just with spacers or boxes as lift kits. I already have bigger tires but I’m wondering if anyone out there knows the best way to give my truck this look on a budget under $1,200. Thank you. Picture is not my truck but very similar on appearance. Mine is red with bigger tires

If you dont go crazy offroading a spacer kit is a good option. All I do is dirt roads to campsites so theres no point swapping out new suspension. I was on a Facebook group and they were all saying that it will make your truck blow up if you add a spacer kit.

Anyway, I bought my new truck 4 weeks ago.

I now have new tires and spacer lift kit for a grand total of $315.

    Lift kit $140
Low Range off road rear 1" block $75
Supreme suspensions front 2" spacer $65

(A 2" front spacer required shortening the bolts on my shocks, 3" would have cleared but I didn't want the front to be higher than the rear, plus less need for UCAs)

    New Falken wildpeaks 265/75r16
    Tires $450
    Balancing and installation $75

    Sold stock tires -$350
