Hello everyone, just purchased my first Toyota, and this is my first time posting here.

Recently my low beam on my drivers side stopped working. The low beam on the passenger side works, and the both the drivers and passenger side high beams work.

Any idea what would cause the low beam to stop functioning on just one side?

    Thanks!

Welcome to TW! The low beam burnt out and you need to replace the bulb. Headlight bulbs should always be replaced in pairs as they dimm over time and if one goes out the other is not far behind.

Sorry for my lack of understanding, but isn't the high beam and low beam on the same bulb, but different filaments? I have already replaced the bulb, the brights/high beam work, but the low beam does not.

    Thanks

Yes, high and low is on the same bulb. Check your fuse box under the hood, there is a separate fuse for each filament. Sounds like your driver side low beam fuse may be out.

I will give the fuses a look over. Thanks for the input.
