I searched this thread but didn't didn't someone post an axle off a welder or generator a couple days ago? It just had heavy duty leafs with tires, and no brakes.

    I sorta have a plan.

    See below...

Ha - jokes on you guys - that awning required the legs so I'm going to pass! I want a freestanding one.

    90% yes.

32" tires fit without an issue, on factory rims. I'm just not sure about those wheels... Offset /backspace combination is something I wasn't paying attention in school, lol.
Worst case scenario, you'd have to trim some plastics :notsure:

Those look like the 3.5bs. They will push the wheel/tire out a bit.

This one linked has legs that mount for inclement weather howeer it can be used without them for normal conditions. That's what I meant by freestanding.... Obviously tie downs could be used for windier conditions etc.

If you plan on changing up the setup I would just wait altogether, you had mentioned doing a bit of a lift, wait to do that before you buy tires. Plan out your mods that way you're not buying things twice. I used to do this for a part time job selling upgrades to performance cars etc, and the number of times people come in to change out aftermarket parts because they didn't plan right... Granted it worked out great for me but is a bit of a waste in my opinion.

Save up, be patient on installing stuff and remember if you miss a deal now it'll likely come around again in a year. You mentioned being on a HS budget, don't blow it all on your truck, just do maintenance for now and when you're out and got a job or if you go to college reassess your situation. I spent well over my budgets on all of my previous cars and looking back sometimes I wish I waited and planned a bit better, it would have saved me countless clutches, motors, tires, suspensions etc.... The truck is really the first thing I planned everything ahead of time and patiently waited to install everything at once to minimize downtime or the need to redo things.

So much want, but I'm too thrifty to spend that much on an awning.
