So im sure if there is a will there is a way. yet im not fully sure. ive been searching the threads and googleing my ass off. i still havent found the answer. is there a kit to add a rear locker to a 2016 limited? if so is it something that has to be done in a shop or is it pretty easy to install?

ARB makes an air locker. Harrop makes an E-locker. Or you could replace the stock axle with an Off-road/Pro axle.

Lots of threads here, try searching sport rear locker.

Depends on the shop. I installed an arb in mine and it roughlt 6 hours shop time. Its not just a locker, a good bit more goes into it.

If you have to ask if this is easy or not, then the hob is way out of your abilities.

Also requires wiring and mounting on board air supply.
To get it installed at a shop if they supply all items is easily going to be around 2200. Labor is going to be around 600 to 750 for the job.
