Yeah I figured I posed this question yesterday since some of the 2nd gens had the antenna on the fender. I don't know when they switched to the sharkfin but I think some of the 2nd gens had it possibly I could be wrong.

Hi! Been following for a bit, and I had some questions. At first it seemed these would be cab racks, then they expanded to cab and bed/canopy racks.

Are you planning on selling just the cab rack?

These look freakin' phenomenal is why I ask.

a word of caution when it comes to the design of mounts for the camper shells. The slope/curvature of the camper shells vary significantly vendor to vendor. Also, even for the same vendor and model, the placement of the mounting tracks on an individual cap vary where on that slope/curvature they are placed. This creates a problem for non-adjustable mounts for these variations of the slope/curvature of the shell. This is a big problem for Prinsu's design of their camper shell mounts. I've outline the problem and "readily available" solution I came up with in detail here: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/mounting-foot-alternative-for-toprac.503846/

Prinsu's solution was simply to stack washers, which I wasn't comfortable with this is the approach I took:

    The problem :
    '''

Prinsu's "solution" is to stack washers to fill in the gaps. This seemed both hokey (for a rack this nice) and dangerous (for any rack supporting a lot of weight). The issue is the supplied Prinsu feet do not take into account the sloping roofs on a cap. My solution - the Smittybilt AM-4 Adjust-A-Mount Mounting Brackets:

    https://www.amazon.com/Smittybilt-AM-4-Mounting-Bracket/dp/B00AQFE8BG/ref=cm_wl_huc_item

These feet are fully adjustable for the slop of the roof and give you the exact angle you need and work PERFECT. The height comes within 1/4" of the CabRac and with a small modification can be made to come within 1/8". Below are some pictures of them installed:

I strongly urge that you design a solution to this problem upfront and not have it be an afterthought post production. The net net is you need to come up with adjustable mount feet to solve this problem.

our feet are fully adjustable and will not present issues like the prinsu feet do. This was biggest stress point in the design process because i was aware of the issue. I am lucky and have well spaced rails and flat too so i have minimal issue but we understand where you are coming from.

@Doozy4212 Any chance you can post some more detailed pictures of the mount feet? Very interested to see how you tackled the problem. Also any chance you'd sell the feet as a separate offering ? :)

It exploded into a full company. There are two cab style racks, the standard one on the Tan truck and the xL version seen on the white truck. Additionally there is a topper rack that mates to the xL. It can be utilized as a rack for a bed system on KB Voodoo or RCI (verified) systems. I'm sure it will fit others.
