2020 Taco

Anybody go on Toyota’s “Build Your Own” thing and look at the 2020 Taco? WTF is up with the limited colors and the mandatory snorkel on the PRO? Seriously...can’t not build one without the snorkel?

 

I was watching a guy on YouTube the other day that had a good suggestion for Toyota, he was noticing Tacoma's with Snorkels seem to sit on the lots for months unsold. He had a good idea that they should be dealer installed options only at the request of the buyer.

 

The build site sucks. Change the zipcode and watch the magic happen. They have 2020s up on there already?

 

Can't be badass without a snorkel. Of course if you drive it where you need the snorkel the electronics will shit the bed.

 

My lease is coming up in about 5 months. So Toyota is filling up my email with offers. I could have sworn I did a “build your own” with a 2020. But I just went to the official site and it only goes up to 2019. I drink a lot...did I mention that?

 

That's O.k. I like to partake in a little beverage consumption too. But either way, the build site only shows whats allocated in your region at the time. It will change as inventory changes, or as I said earlier, try a different zipcode.

 

I have a deposit on a 2020 MT in white. If they are that thing standard and the only way you can get it is with that the dealer is buying me a fender so I can get it painted. There is no 2020 build on the site yet, hell they haven't even announced pricing yet.

 

The snorkel isn't for underwater. Look it up please

I get that, and I get that companies push other supposed advantages to sell more of them, but the first people I saw using them were in swamps and deep water.
