If you're not going to damage their car with your door, why does it matter?

comes across a little bit of a prick knowing they parked there away from people so you park directly next to them.

 

i post on a tacoma forum on my own computer away from other tacoma forum posters. i don't sit down next to a tacoma forum poster and do it.

 

If I park far out, I just don't want someone next to me that will dent my shit. I don't care if someone parks next to me, though.

Sometimes when I park way out, I'll come back to see a really expensive car next to me. It doesn't make me mad as I assume that means they trust I won't dent their car.

 

It seems like most of the people who disagree are stock. If I see a tastefully modded taco i'll park next to them. I feel like its just a friendly act. Like "nice truck."

 

Exactly. I like parking next to other modded Tacos in kind of a nod to them that I like their truck.

It's a community thing. Taco's aren't a Camry - they have an enthusiast community, and sometimes it's fun to park by other Taco's.

 

I havent experienced anything but friendliness HERE, but who knows out there

 

I park off alone to keep inconsiderate people from dinging my truck with their doors, honestly. So I typically avoid parking next to anybody, regardless of what they're driving. Coming out of the store to find somebody parked next to me at the end of the parking lot is kind of like

 

Big empty parking lot you could leave a slot between you two. What if hes a little disabled or a big guy who needs to open his door all the way to get in easy . He parked there to get away from everybody

If they're disabled, they'd likely be in a handicap spot (not the back of the lot). And if they're so fat that they can't get in with that much space, they probably aren't driving a Tacoma.

Seriously, some who are against this are thinking way too much into it.
