Nope. 99.999% of tacoma owners don't give a crap about other peoples tacomas and are not "enthusiasts" in any way. This forum is not a reprentative sample of "enthusiasm level".

This is complete BS. The Taco has a massive enthusiast following. Hell, the truck is basically advertised as a recreational vehicle.

There is a reason this forum moves at the speed of light, and if you go to the Rav4 forums, it's basically dead. The Taco also has the largest aftermarket outside of maybe Wranglers.

The Tacoma is not a vehicle someone typically goes for if they just want a set of wheels.

 

To me, going out of your way would be trolling the lot for a Tacoma to park by. lol

Nope. There are lots of enthusiasts because they sell a lot of trucks (about 245k in 2018). So, 1% of 245,000 is 2,450. May seem like a lot, but remember the other 242,550 owners could care less.

 

They sell roughly twice as many Rav4's, and that car has no enthusiasts.

Again, nobody shopping for just a set of wheels, or that only sees a vehicle as just transportation is shopping for a Tacoma. And there is a reason Toyota markets the truck like they do.

There is a reason why the truck is advertised going of jumps and off-roading - it's because the Tacoma is an enthusiast vehicle.

 

Taco one parks in the middle of nowhere so his truck won't get dinged. You parked next to him AND right on the line! Dude move over a spot.

 

Or maybe he parked next to nobody so only tacos can park next to him. Ever thought of that
