Yup, just finished my front bumper. I also have the rear high clearance with tire carrier to build but that's a few weeks out still.

Great customer support from Coastal and they include instructions. CBI does not as far as I know.

Sweet! i'm thinking about snagging one, i like the low profile look it has. how about the shackle ears, those are the only thing i'm a bit concerned about.

Talk with Brandon, the owner and designer. He can provide you with additional material to make the recovery points thicker.

They do for the first gens:

Another option for DIY bumper kits is http://nwtrailinnovations.com/

I went with CBI just because the price was nearly the same, and I liked the look of the MOAB bumper. I'm seriously considering the NWTI rear bumper though, when I get to that point.

No, they don't have instructions, but it's pretty easy to follow along. There's really only 1 way it all goes together.
Here's a build thread I put together for the CBI bumper. I think there are some links to other people's builds, too.

We work closely with Brandon from C.O. and weld together the bumpers for his customers who can't weld themselves. The product is good, and I could recommend it.

Not a Tacoma, but we just did this complete 4runner build. Sliders and bumpers from coastal.

thanks for sharing the thread. Looks pretty easy to put together. I do like the MOAB bumper more than the Coastal. But i'm fickle and i'll probably flop between them both :annoyed:
What are you guys doing for turn signals?

haha damn I was just about to tag you in this after verifying that you had gotten one of these, then saw you already posted. Looks good, definitely on my short list of bumpers to buy when I finally get around to it.

I've also heard that CBI is pretty much non-existent customer service wise these days, there have been a few threads on that recently on TW.

I had already done the corner marker light mod. The CBI comes with LEDs that go in the holes on teh bumper. So I'm just going to splice them in to the turn signals, and since the LEDs aren't the only turn signals, I don't need to worry about a new relay for the turn signals.

Here are my "new" corner marker/turn signals.

You I have this bumper coming in tomorrow! I love your truck man. Can you give me the dimensions of the wheel and tire combo here and what kind of wheels are those? How high are you lifted? Also I’d appreciate more photos of this beauty.
