I was going to offer my 2 cents, but I’m not giving structural opinions on the internet. I would pull the subfloor up and head off the conflicting joist, but I’d want to actually see the issue in person before advising. Professionals call engineers, why not a DIY homeowner?

 

My only opinion would be "I hate plumbing."

 

I learned something at work today. That is, no one gives a fuck what I think.

 

I don't even need to go into work to learn that. Look at all the gas I just saved.

 

I learned that a long time ago. The one that did retired. I come to work do my job and go home. No fucks given about anything else.
