They are actually garage door bottom seal, the one piece style doors. They work well enough too.

Wasn't that big a deal really. I just wanted to check it out.

Fry bread stand was closed. It was raining and 3:45pm when I got there. They close at 4:45. Only a few vendors too. Just too cold and dreary this time of year I guess. Spent the night in Bloomfield, NM. I took 64 east to Chama, crossed the pass on 17 into Colorado and to 160, then over to I-25 into Denver.

Yeah the monument is not all that great, the fry bread is what made it worth it for me haha. I was hoping you'd head up the gun barrel through Durango and over Wolf Creek, would've loved to check out your truck

Cool. That’s exactly what I want. I just don’t want the shocks outside the frame rails. I didn’t like how far out the tires were with 1.25” spacers.

Found snow again. Don't recall the name of the pass I went over but the highest elevation I hit was 10,265 feet.

Later in the day, I came into a town called Manassa, CO. Turns out that's where Jack Dempsey was born. He was also known as the Manassa Mauler.

Took a quick excursion offroad a little ways outside of Manassa, just because.

No pics after that. It was an otherwise boring drive into Denver.

Thought about it when I was planning but wasn't too sure of the weather so tried to pick a route with less elevation. Kinda difficult to do in Colorado tho. Might head back that way when I head home tho. Again, depending on the weather.

Nice! My tires just barely poke past the flares. I really dig the look but it’s not for everyone.

Not sure the brand I think it was custom made. As for install I drilled three holes on each bed rail and made custom bed rail bolt clamps to cinch it down super tight it was pretty easy

... it wasn't long before we arrived at our destination, technically known as: some spot along the road. We pulled off as far as we could - careful to stay within the grading berms - and prepped ourselves for the journey ahead. Lunches were made, water bottles filled. And then, we set off across the desert. Truth be told, it didn't look that far to the other side.

Check out the full story and photos in part 3 of Hiking Death Valley. It covers two days for your viewing pleasure:

I still haven't gone out there, really wanted to this year but we'll see...gotta do it before ~mid April or it's going to start to get hot out there. By May it will be brutal until probably late Oct./early Nov.
