looking for a hand held to communicate to people via cb radio for spotting situations, do you guys recomend anything in particular?

 

Batman is hard for justice.

A HAM radio. Handheld CB are trash. Or at the very least some basic walkie talkies.

But I agree that having a handheld comm device is awesome. It's very handy for recovery situations and spotting

 

im not very knowledgable when it comes to radio, would the cb in my truck be able to pick up the ham or would i need a different antenna setup to pick up a differnet radio frequency

 

HAM and CB can't talk to each other. I was just being a grump because I hate CB radio. For a nice little hand held I recommend just picking up some walkie talkies for spotting situations. And just give the other radio to who you're spotting

I had that one. It wasn't too hateful. Even did good using external antenna in truck.

 

Did some driving around today. Holy moly, the cops were out in force, especially Faquier county. Went by the Cabelas in Gainesville because I bought a used EMP back there in January, and they found a couple magazines that they forgot to give me. While I was there this little guy followed me home. Got a good deal on it, since it's factory "blemished". I can't find the blemish.
