    Yeah.
This, and many freak out if the folder + file name character length gets too long. So you don't want to go crazy with too many folder levels, and keep the file names shorter. I had some from some remastered album that put "(remastered blah blah blah)" at the end of the file name, freaked out the head unit.

Thank you all. It confused me that initially the USB port did charge, then dropped to 10-50mA. Yeah the Qi pad is almost as useless.

suggestion- I ran a 5amp blue sea dual USB chager direct to the battery. Meant to charge smart devices, etc. About a 30 min install job.

Photo please. I've was thinking about installing a Blue Sea USB on the left side panel (knee level). Curious if it is an exact fit for the blank?

Here is my set up. Really simple and fit like a glove. PM me with any questions happy to walk you through it. Since this post I tapped in to this and ran another 5amp blue sea charger for the rear passengers in the back of the center console. Again it was another 10 min job. The modular darling switch holes fit perfect in the trim where I took that cubby out. It just unscrews from the back. It only took a file to square off the rounded corners and the three slot switch holder slid right in.

Also the nice thing is that location is directly in front of the grommet you poke the powers wires through to under the hood and boom, you’re right at the battery. Couldn’t be easier!

Working “great” is one thing. But there are many downsides to it for sure!

Yes I think the wireless charging is more of a novelty, going to have to invest in one of those dual chargers. Wife is obsessed with keeping her phone charged and I always have to say of stuff in the center console.
Also think i'll just get one of those portable charge stations as I am working in the field most days and have a bunch of electronics I need to keep charged.

Yeah simply doesn’t keep up with smart devices. We did a test in another thread. 5amp or go home

Seems this "issue" carried over from the 2nd gens. Still have the same problem, no charging, no device recognition when using the USB.

Works fine on my s8+ as well. I stream music from my phone and it charges and plays at the same time no problem.
