    Pro-Comp 57491 3” Lift Coils

    Heavy Duty TRQ Axles

    OEM Strut Mounts

These all finally came in the mail. I bought the strut mounts so I can go ahead have the front coils and struts pre-made so when I decide to swap them out it will take less time. With the Bilstein 5100 adjustable struts you can go from 0-2.5” lift with the stock coils. However I bought the Pro-Comp 57491 coils that are suppose to make up the difference for the 3” lift so I will be setting the strut on 0”. When ordering the Coils I didn’t realize it, but all the hardware comes with them including bottom shock mount bolt, all the bolts and spacer for the sway bar and the differential drop. I will not be installing the spacers yet until I do some more research about them. I have heard stories about the spacers causing a lot more vibrations and wearing everything out quicker because it sets the differential and axle at more of a even level than stock. But I will install them later if I feel the need to.

    3) OEM Strut Mount Kit (x2) $22.50ea

Have you installed these yet? If so how do the 700# coil ride, rough?

They actually ride very good. I would highly suggest replace your UCA to an aftermarket brand that can stand a 4” lift. This lift gave it a total of 4.25” in the front lift. So the UCA are kinda tilted more, putting more stress on the ball joint and then when it extends all the way it kinda rubs the coils. But other than that it rides great! A firm ride but not like knock your teeth out.

How are the TRQ CV axles?

It's past time for a replacement. These look like they may be a nice middle between OEM price/quality and the typical cheap ones from the auto parts store a.
