I'm in Wisconsin for now, might be moving closer but either way I'd be interested.

I don’t think so, since they bolt to the bed rails and sit on the rim of the bed. I don’t have a Tonneau, but... I don’t see how it could.

You won't have any issue with length. I'm also 5' 10" and have plenty of head and foot room. Width shouldn't be a problem if you like each other. It's between a twin and a double bed size. I share it with my dog but she's a Chihuahua.

Thats great! I might end up having to choose at CVT when Im there because Im truly torn on what to go with. The size of the Shasta is so appealing in case we need it. Possible you have any inside pictures??

No, no inside ones but here it is setup. It's just a little narrower than the truck bed. It's all mattress inside so I think it'll be fine for 2

I got a tepui kukuman. The 3 person tent to me is really a 2 person. I had a rack built by a guy local to me and had him do it so it sits just a bit over the cab when closed up. I really like my tepui for quality and their support. They are prompt and any warranty issue they really will help and work with you!.

Yep - I ended up enlarging the garage door opening and putting in a new garage door so that I could back the truck and topper into this garage and use a pulley system to remove tent when I'm not using it.

I really like it. I was concerned about it since it is a Smitty, but I've been impressed with it. I haven't had any fitment issues, no metal shavings, no leaking, no tears or rips.
I think the side straps and the cover tie down straps could have been done better. The way the straps double back and have velcro closings makes it rather difficult. I'd rather have a side release buckle and slider arrangement. When you set the tent up, make sure that the groove in the hinge at the bottom center of the tent engages the ridge so that the bottom of the tent locks together.
Eventually I'll probably go with a higher-end tent, but for a experiment in the RTT field I'm very happy with it.

Thanks a lot for the info, very helpful! I am in the same boat. This will be my foray venture into the RTT world as well.

Just a size difference between the Overland and Overlander XL. It is really nice, though have not ventured with it yet. I checked out many, many reviews and the price point was better for us.

It really depends what you are looking for and willing to let go of for the sake of the price. The only thing I will add is a strap wrapping around (not across) the black cover near the velcro just to ensure it stays snug at highway speed even though over my bed and below the roof line. We have a Subaru Outback this will transfer to also which will eat the wind, so a strap will add some security and no worry. I do not think it would come off either way, but I would feel better knowing it is cinched.
