    Hi guys,

I was wondering if anyone else has had experience with a trickling sound near the driver side door when driving in the rain. As far as I can tell there isn't any water coming in but it is a strange sound to hear. Stranger still is that I only hear it when moving through rain and when still there's no sound. I'm not super stressed about it I just want to know if anyone else has had this experience and if so what did you do to stop it.

I guess the only bad thing were to be if water was getting into the cab frame but idk how I would check that.

    Thanks

Isnt there a plastic vent on the driver side between the bottom windshield and back of hood where water can go in and drip down to the ground?

The window tracks tend to channel water down into the door.

On my truck, one of the window tracks would make water pour right onto my aftermarket speaker magnets, this caused the glue on the speaker to fail and the voice coil to fill up with water.

So, that being said, remove the drivers door panel, remove the vapor barrier and the front speaker. Take the car into a touch free car wash (or use a hose if its warm enough) and look in the door with a flashlight.
