A few additions to make me feel cool.
Looks about right but the best thing you can do is throw it in the trash and put a normal intake on it.

I have (2) filters one on the truck and a clean and oiled filter ready for use !!!!

    Cleaning .....

When cleaning spray the cleaner inside and out and then rinse from inside out . I will generally let the filter air dry a couple days

Oiling ....... they key to proper oiling is to lightly fog ea pleat using quick pass over ea pleat with the nozzle 8"-10" away ( you do not want to oversaturate)

I then let air dry for 5 days minimum if I'm going to install it

This is my spare filter .....

    Cleaned ...

    Oiled ...

With a towel wipe the filter media and rubber end pieces of excess oil then leave outside for a couple hours in direct sunlight to dry thoroughly

Yes you can leave it on but would suggest pulling the pre filter off and cleaning it every 6 months to keep sufficient air flow into the filter !!!

    I have a k and n on my Harley.
The only reason why is it self oils and I wash the oil out of it twice a year.
The Bike takes care of the oiling for me. Roflmao....
I wouldn’t run one of those at all otherwise.
