The list is long, but distinguished.
Amazon is for black only, website shows color options in pictures but can only select from black or red. Scratch and dent says 4 available, it cannot select any color.... can I get this is mgm?

Only have black and red in stock. I had been doing more colors but everyone wanted red or black so I sold what I had and did not offer it up anymore. I will see if I can fine one around.

As I said in the past clamps are options. If you feel the clamp is enough security it may work. If you move that clamp .1 to the left you can lift the tailgate off the truck with the clamp on the tailgate.

Happy New Year everyone. Wanted to let you know we tried to keep the prices down for the last two years, but the cost of materials have increased and we are also forced to increase our prices to continue our journey. It has been an exciting and challenging year trying to keep up with the demand for our locks. Thank you once again for the kind word and confidence in our products. We are pleased to be a part of the solution to a very bad situation. Wish you all a Blessed and Happy New Year.

Money well spent. I have these tailgate locks on both our Tacos. Yep, you can budget out and use a hose clamp but it's easier to defeat than these. These will be a real PITA to defeat. Considering the cost of a replacement tailgate, it's cheap insurance.....

Went to visit my family for a few hours and found my tailgate open tonight when i was about to leave.
Bastards didn't take my take my tailgate due to the awesome lock. They did end up taking my toyota bed mat, (i just realized it was missing
looking at the photos) and they cut the camera wires, which should be a quick fix. Assholes!
$35 investment saved me at least $700 tonight.

Glad to hear it saved your tail(gate).

Was confused on weather to like or not your post as I like the fact that the lock saved the tailgate, but there was damage so I did not like that.

Glad the lock was able to save your tailgate, just wish they would have seen the lock first before they cut the wires. They probably figure they had it down to a process. Stealing the tailgate truly is a snip clip clip take the tailgate in 30 seconds. Another attempt foiled per design, but sucks that there was damage.

I even upped it one level by adding a heavy duty zip tie (like the one's law enforcement uses) in addition to the hose clamp.

As stated before if the hose clamp provides the level of security you are looking for. Save the money and do not buy our lock. If you do some searching you will find that some people were only left with their hose clamp when their tailgate was stolen.

We have had two known saves to date, one noteed here and one noted on Amazon. Toyota sells 140k trucks a year. We have sold many of these locks but not that many and have not heard of one defected to date. That could change but it is a pita to install for a reason.

@scleaf - I never said to not use your product. I am only sharing my experience with @Clearwater Bill if he decides to go with the hose clamp option.

You have a great product and keep doing the good work to help support this TW community especially with the chronic stolen tailgate issue with Tacos. Currently, I installed a "Used-Like New" automatic Pop & Lock purchased from Amazon. Brand new parts but damaged box. Locks/Unlocks with the keyless remote.
