Thats a red flag for you man... you see it every day... it builds on itself over time... that is the very reason that this is such a disappointing thing to see posted by a guy with a wide reach.

Yeah maybe on its own its "just a rock scratch" but its the principle of it that is so unacceptable. The fact that he does it, may cause a young kid or more to believe its okay cuz that TCM BST guy does it.

Then eventually we are left with no beautiful scenery untouched by ignorant dbags. All done because they think its cool, or want to leave their mark for whatever ill conceived reason.

I'm in the same camp . I go out into nature in hopes of feeling as if I'm getting away from it all. Seeing marks like that out there is just removing that small element bit by bit
