    Gentleman,

I just installed a Pioneer AVH-4200, and everything works great, but...my dvd player keeps skipping. Im not off roading with it or anything like that. In fact, I've been parked in my driveway, and it will skip video/audio like every 5 seconds. Any advice, or similar results people are having with these?

I installed mine well over a month ago, and haven't had any issues with it at all. I would try checking all your electrical connections in back of the unit. Or try multiple DVD's to make sure the DVD itself wasn't causing the issue.

yeah when i bought my 4100 i read alot of reviews . some said they had problems some didn't. iv'e had no problems with mine at all even while offroading. it sounds like you might have to use the warranty.(i know it sucks)

If you did the install yourself, then you should know how to take the dash apart. I would just double check and make sure all the connections are solid before using the warranty. :)

I hope you get it working. It is an awesome unit.
