:pccoffee: Good morning. 11° and coldest temp see on long term forecast. Up to 29° today.

Dug trench in snow last night again and will today when I can. And tonight and tomorrow. And work on roof. Warming up to 40° and rain starting tomorrow night for 3 days. With work it will stay out of my garage and walls of the house from ice dams on roof. Luck has nothing to do with it, takes work. Well and maybe some luck..

Talk is this could be the worse flooding since 1965 and the Upper Mississippi River towns are already making preps for it.

    March 10 driveway.jpg

Found the truck under the snow and got driveway down to the ice base. All that snow and ice has to go some where when it melts.

To me, that would be one hell of a learning curve.

I don't feel like I got an extra hour of sleep......

I really had to laugh. For one reason or another, everyone I know around here had the time on their phones reset to something we don't even do and nobody skipped a beat. Lots of folks got up an hour early and ended up somewhere early but the reactions were all the same. Cuss, reset the phone and go about the normal business.

I have to pay more attention when the phone updates. It almost always changes the setting from manual to automatic and from standard to whateverthehellyouallareon.

Our forcast is the same, rain and 40s.
I'm going to make some trenches so the driveway can drain. Started doing it yesterday while power company was fixing our pole.

Now asking for those that carry bikes w/hitch mount....advice on good product for 2/3 mountain bikes carry, let me know. Frame securing verses wheel securing option? Thanks in advance, MSGtacoMedic out!

Last time I've been in Panamint city was back in 1994 when I was at the CA4WDC annual Panamint Valley Days . This also were I got to meet Marlin from Marlin Crawlers and Rick Pewe and David Freiburger who were editors back then from 4wheel off road magazine

It was fun exploring the old ghost town and going into the mineshaft .I would like to explore it again but doubt now i can make the hike up the waterfalls
