New to the scene, bank still owns the truck, one day they gonna call me and ask “why you wheeling our shit”. Tubing around the same process for MT trucks with the clutch pedal?

It should be. I didn't have to do anything to my e brake pedal. The intrusion into the cab was further into the corner under the side kick panel.

Anyone found a shorter replacement bolt? Or use everyone just cutting it shorter?

3rd gen bolts are smooth shank most of the way so you can’t reuse them without extra spacers

For third gens at least, a 1/2”-13x4” long grade 8 bolt with a nylock nut works perfect. Unsure on second gens.

Got mine installed finally. Now I’ve got plenty of room to tub so I can clear the 37s.

Anybody figure out a way to get some paint inside the frame? I’m guessing the welding cooked the paint inside.

just stick fluid film down in there with the hose, that's going to be your best bet

I was looking at doing a CMC just because my front cab mounts are pretty rusty inside from the PO not spraying mud out of them regularly. This seems like a good option to simply replace the entire mount altogether.

Any of you guys that have installed these, can the old mount be cut off with an angle grinder and cutoff wheel? I don't have access to a plasma.

Yes. Grinder with cut off wheels and flap disc is what I used.

That’s what I used. Takes a while and comes off in a bunch of pieces but it works

2nd gens are better, change my mind.
Any long-term updates on wheeling abuse to these mounts?
