This is not on my taco, but need some advice.
My daughter drives a 2015 Nissan Juke Nizmo with 48.XXX miles and is currently in London for a semester to study. In the meantime I have to drive her car on weekends to get it moving. Recently I have felt the engine stutter when I came to a stop, is intermittent and it feels like is going to die for a second but it regains RPM but after that I get the icon with the SS trails from the back wheels.
After reading on the Nissan forums, I cleaned the MAF and throttle body. At 48.xxx miles the throttle body was covered in soot as well as the MAF. Cleaned all and replaced the air filter, waiting to drive it for a long test.
    Here is the question:
How often do we need to clean the MAF and throttle body on the tacos? Is it based on miles or type of terrain was driven on?
What else has to be cleaned excluding the air filter?

Not the same vehicle. But my old 96 Chevy k1500 never had the throttle body or maf cleaned for it's whole life 170xxx miles. Never had an issue. Cleaned it one day on a whim didn't make a noticeable difference.
