Lugs checked after the first 100 miles, new splash guards in, truck cleaned. All knocked out Saturday morning and afternoon.

Spare tire ordered for the wheel, should be here later this week! Finally gonna have a same size spare again, now to solve the lack of a jack that will reach

 

Wheel and tire to replace the stock spare are currently in the truck, just need to get it mounted and I will have a stock spare tire up for grabs.

I also have I believe two pairs of springs sitting on my porch up for grabs. I really need to make these vanish. Getting some crap about them even though they are hidden under covers behind a stack of chairs.

 

If they are in the way by all means you can drop them off over here. I’m sure I can find someone eventually who will need them and obviously I have more storage options.

 

Is that a steel spare?

Tomorrow I'm working at the fire school, and Sunday I am in class, what about next friday? The 29th?

I've used that spare once for a quick drive into town (3 miles?) to get a flat fixed since then it hasn't moved from under the truck.

No worries. Was just a pita. Finding one that was not 50 foot long. Thais one should last us for awhile. And now I know where to walk in and buy one no problems.

So. Gotta do breaks. I’m thinking the fronts are due. Sounds like a bird is stuck in the wheels anytime I break.

Looking for something heavier then the basic kit I got from the store last time. Simply because there is a good amount of weight to the truck now.

 

With all the armor I have on, these brake pads with the slotted and dimpled rotors are holding up very well and no noise.
