You are correct, only one bolt on the bottom of each slider towards the rear. The optional hole you can drill is the one closer to the front wheels on the bottom. I’m sure you can drill and add more bolts, but according to RCI’s instructions it is only that one extra hole on the bottom that is optional for heavy use.

I did not have to drill. My sliders are very stout. Maybe if I were out bouncing my truck off rocks every day I would drill that hole. I would take picks but won’t be home for another month.

I am wanting to take my rci sliders back off. Does anybody recall the OEM bolts that you have to remove to install the sliders? I am looking around my toolbox trying to find the ones I took off.

I don't recall having to completely remove any bolts, I think anything OEM was put back on after.

Installed my RCI sliders yesterday. Directions leave something to be desired. All said and done, about 2-2.5 hours for the passenger side and about an hour for the drivers side. HIGHLY recommend a second set of hands. Hats off to those that install these by themselves.

So my question is....did you get the hardware and was it "plug and play"

    I want to purchase locally.

2 hours or so on one side is OK with me but why?

Hardware was included and bolted right up for me. Only thing you need to remove on each side is 1 bolt on the bottom of the frame. Only took me 2hours to install both by myself with a jack and 2 jack stands. Don’t really know why it should take 2 hours per side.

Not a bad install. Having another set of hands makes thinks a ton easier as others have said. Everything lined up and was easy to install overall. Only had 3 beers so...

Nice! I'm going to purchase the sliders tomorrow but 20^ looks like a better fit for us for the wife getting in once the lift happens!

They look SHARP...any reason you didn't do the top plates?

 The grit is super coarse, 80 grit from what I remember. Works great even when wet. It will eat the shit out of your calves if you don't clear the slider when getting out though haha.

Pretty sure the 5* would be a better step. The standard I can use as a step also but they do hug the truck.

I think the filler plates look a tad busy is all. Hard choice honestly since the price isnt that much.

I know this is an old post but just in case someone else ends up with these they were provided as longer bolts for the box that connects to the outside of the frame on the passengers side.

Food for thought for others on this. When wearing shorts that grip tape is gonna exfoliate your calf’s nicely as you get in and out
