Interestingly, I tried to swap to a pro grille too but it was just too much and too busy so I went back to stock.

If i was to do it all over again:
    1. i would use the template to drill the big hole2
    2. then i would get some gasoline and set it on fire:bananadead:.
    3. Then i would put the screws on the snorkel
    4. get some double sided tape, cut some up circle square whatever it maybe
    5. put them the screws.
    6. Then dry fit it on the side panel. The double sided tape should stick marking where you want to drill the holes.
    7. That should get you within a good line up

Today I washed my truck! I had to, there was a little dust on it.

And, I noticed something. In the headliner above the driver's face there is a little plastic rectangle a bit less than one inch by a bit more than one inch. It has little bumps or holes all over.
    What the heck is it?

Bought my 3rd gen today! Super stoked. Wanted a reliable new truck to get me places for hiking, biking, adventuring, and landscape photography. Only 42 miles on it so far! Absolutely love the color...and the manual tranny....

Coming from a 2013 WRX Limited Hatch. Loved that car, but was kinda over it and not very practical for my wife and I anymore. She has a 2018 Subie Forester XT that we will continue to use for longer road trips and MPGs.

I thought so, too. Kind of weird placement, when the dash would grab your voice just as well and be a fair bit easier to wire.

I googled and someone said the microphone is in the center by the sunroof/crawl control console. So now I'm not sure.. haha

I grabbed some aluminum screen door mesh and some permatex glue/epoxy from a hardware store and glued it in behind the grille. Has held up well and kept a lot of crud and bugs out.
