Im thinking about heading out the northwest ohv park today in my stock 3rd gen trd 4x4 and its my first time doing anything offroad so wanted to check with the community and see what you guys think. Do they have easy stuff I can start out with and not break my truck? Also, its worth mentioning that I plan on going alone. I figure there would be plenty of people in the park in the case that I do get stuck or something.

You'll have to be more area specific. I googled that, is that the one in Bridgeport TX?

There are several regional forums that might have a better lay of the land.

Not having any experience with that park, I can say that generally OHV parks have a plethora of trails/obsticles for all skill levels.

Take it easy, don't go bonkers. If you get to a spot that looks hard, get out and assess it on foot. It's an OHV park, so there will probably be other people there, so you can see their lines, etc... Definitely stick to the easy trails.

These trucks are pretty strong, you kinda have to be either real unlucky, or a total goober to break one your first time out.

Thanks for the replies. I ended up going alone and had a blast although I did drive around for a while before I found the easy stuff. The map they give you is pretty bad.

Next time I will post in a more area specific thread to avoid confusion. Appreciate the suggestion
