It wont matter if it has power seats or not, if its anything like the 4runner, there isn't much room between your knees and that steering column, so you can get in and out without losing a knee cap, the steering wheel needs to come out further for some of these short arm folk, so then the elbows can rest on the arm pads. I'll hold my breath, like the 4 runner refresh in 14 it'll be cosmetic stuff, lights and some little doodads.

We will all know in a coupe days. Personally there’s isn’t anything sentimental about my 3rd gen that would not keep me from upgrading to a 2020.

Ironman Foamcell 3" lift, ARB dual compressor, GoPro mount, BadElf mount, Drive grab handle, RCI skids, Victory sliders, half rack, TuffStuff Alpha ll RTT, Dometic 75 Fridge, extra USB & Outlets
Over the years I have owned 8 Toyota pickup/Tacoma’s, newest being a 2002 and would love to get one more, but at 60 years old and driving about 20-25k miles a year, I want some comfort in my next/last pickup, but also one that is ready to go into the mountains or off the beaten paths. Hey Toyota if you listening/reading, I would like a TRD Pro with Heated & 8 way seats for both front seats (heck even the nice manual Toyota seats from the 1st gen limited), because I might not be the one driving. Some of this may already be here, but other stuff that I would like are Dual lockers (better to have and not need), Dual A/C / heat, Car play/Android, Navigation with 3-4 free updates, 1 or 2 power outlets that are aways hot, some good off road tires (I don’t need to spend another $1000 for tires right after buying a new truck) and 25+ mpg and a fee other little things. How about a Xtra cab TRD Pro with a third door to make it easy for my dog to get in/out. I still have a couple of big trips planned in 2022 & 2024 to revisit the Arctic Ocean and Goosebay Labrador and many camping trips and I want to be comfortable doing it.

Now, what will I see come Thursday, I have no idea, maybe everything I want, but guessing less. As was said, shit in one and wish in the other, but sometimes wishes do come true. Should Toyota built the truck I want by 2022-23, then Toyota will get my money and I will get another Tacoma, if not then maybe a nice 1st gen and make it my truck or a Ranger or Colorado or new Ram if they build one. I love it that the big three are getting back into this market, I think/hope it will just make each of them better.

Going to leave this here. Confirmed with my source again regarding diesel option, they are going to wait it out. It's coming, but going to see how sales hold up against the Ranger.

Is it likely the existing 2019 colors will be carried over into 2020? Is that what happened 2018->2019 and before?
