Take it easy first, then we can talk. Until then, I’ll recommend @bvbull200

I don’t know how any of that works. I logged in one day and saw the banner and was like. :notsure: Then saw the thread with new members. Apparently there is a nomination process, but it was all behind closed doors as best as i can tell.

Sorry guys, no afterwards pics. I was running behind and the warden had a thing this evening. Lets just say @bvbull200 has absolutely nailed this rub IMHO!!! Planning on doing a couple of steaks later in the week and see how it pairs with beef, I'd guess even better than pork and that's saying a lot. Wifey even committed on how she enjoyed it. "If, and only if" there is one thing I'd critique is the fact that I wouldn't mind is a tad more spicy/heat? Keep in mind, I lean towards more heat. Maybe a Spicy Unicorn is in our future as well....

Did you get a picture of it for him?

I should be smoking some proms chops with it tomorrow. If it tastes anything like it smells it’s going to be GOOD.

It felt like an eternity, but the day that I got to try the @bvbull200 unicorn rub finally came. Let me start out by saying that as a business owner myself, I thrive on constructive criticism and take it as an opportunity to grow and become better at what I do. With that being said, that unicorn rub is freaking amazing! As I was eating my dinner this evening I was constantly searching for something I didn't like but I simply couldn't. You absolutely nailed it on this one. I can see how some people might think that it has too much of a peppery taste but I'm pretty sure that is kind of what you were going for. I plan to try more this weekend on some ribs and will give some more feedback. I am anxious to see how this stuff tastes on some pork!

I rubbed both sides of the thighs and put them on high indirect heat with a little bit of white oak.

It took every bit of willpower that I have to not eat the whole plate... Gotta save some for lunch tomorrow.

Thank you so much for letting me participate in this initial test batch. You can count on my continued business.
