If you were a ‘Pro’, you went to the convenience store first, paid $0.25 for a fountain cup, THEN the daiquiri store, pouring the drink in the Coke cup!

But I don’t know anything about that.

 

Yea, we got em. Beer, wine and liquor.
And the ones in the hood for some reason sell chore boy metal sponges and a thin peice of tubular glass called a “rose”.

 

There use to be a Drive around liquor store in the Keys that was a converted Burger King. You placed your order at one side & paid & received your liquor at the at other side.

 

I couldn’t believe it when I saw them.
I always laugh at New Hampshire and the State liquor stores on the highway. But drive thru, that’s real efficiency.

 

I once did a body shot off the lady toll collector at the Harbor tunnel.

 

Those are the best. Used to roll in to the “Lil’ Red Barn” and pop the trunk. Make your order, pay the lady, and a dude magically loads the trunk for you.

Quick, legal, and damn convenient.

Doing the Lord’s work Monday through Saturday.

All this drive thru talk makes me miss days when I lived in decent places... FL, NOLA, and I’ll even add Alabama even tho it had state stores. Living in Utah... phew it’s way different than any other place when it comes to alcohol. Watered down craft beer to <4%. Alcohol at I my specially licensed stores (or state stores), and my fave... must order food to get beer. Yes, in order to be served a drink, you must order food (unless at a specially licensed establishment.)

You me and friends can’t just go grab a drink after work. We have to eat too.

Work-around #1. Most places sell popcorn for $1.
Work-around #2. You have to order, you don’t have to eat.

 

Do you order and then cancel the food?

 

Hmmmm. I have not yet contemplated this idea.

Fucking Prius. Asswipe is saving the planet remember. Probably forgot to charge his Chinese lithium power cell with Middle East oil.

 

When my parents went to college there was a bar in the basement of one of the dining halls. On certain days of the week you could buy 2 pints of beer with your meal plan IF you bought a sub "sandwich" as well.

Sandwich is in quotes because they were nigh inedible, and typically deposited directly in the trash.

 

It's a big building and I'm glad I don't work there, just part of the Org. Thankfully my office is offsite and I don't have to deal with all the issues on the Arsenal.

These are civilians and not in the lane of the senior NCO's. There are very few soldiers on this installation period and they have better things to do than deal with these a-holes.

 

Unfortunately it's just cases or 6/12 packs usually. no open containers. And I'm pretty sure most states have a drive-thru "distributor" for these

Most of the time you just pull up and there's 2-4 people "taking orders" and you just cash pay to make it easier to roll out.

 

Should hop in and park it between the lines. When he comes running out angry just tell him "FIFY".
